Day 1... After berthing at Sydney port, the USS PINCKNEY Supply Officer meets with Resort and Catering Institute representatives to discuss arrangements. For instance:

* Select appropriate days / times for both exchanges.
* Organise transport arrangements for both chefs.
* Arrange a time when publicity photographs can be taken for each exchange.

If the meeting is held onboard the ship with both chefs present in their uniforms, this is the ideal photographic opportunity in the galley without having to interfere on the actual day.

Day 2… Exchange one: The restaurant chef will step aboard the USS PINCKNEY and cook up a storm. The confined spaces of the ship’s galley and restricted on-board food supplies are sure to provide a memorable challenge.

Day 3... Exchange two: The USS PINCKNEY chefs to visit the prestigious restaurants kitchen. Assist in preparing a range of exquisite dishes, meticulously prepared and individually presented to the restaurant guest.
